Pumps, self-priming, centrifugal
BBA centrifugal self-priming pumps are ideally suited for lightly contaminated water with solid parts. The B-series pumps are applicable where self-aspiration can cause trouble or ordinary centrifugal pumps do not work. Once the pump is floated, it easily pumped the air from the suction pipe by mixing the air with water in the pump compartment. The mixture is directed to the discharge nozzle and when all the air is removed the liquid is pumped.
When the pump is switched off, sufficient water remains in the chamber to repeat the suction without repriming the pump.
The B-pumps, depending on the drive used, are available as:
- Electric monobloc pumps or mounted on a frame
- 6 “Pump Drainage and pumps mounted on wheelers, powered by diesel engine
- B300-driven flood pumps from tractor PTO
